A client of the Bergmann Law Firm recently faced charges of Domestic Abuse Enhanced (Serious Misdemeanor) and Theft 5th (Simple Misdemeanor). Upon advise from counsel, the client chose to take the matter to trial in order to defend his innocence. Less than one week prior to trial, the State dismissed all charges with prejudice (cannot re-file charges) with costs incurred to the State.
